2013 Mississippi Food Summit

In 2013, MSAN coordinated the first annual Mississippi Food Summit with the Gaining Ground Sustainability Institute of Mississippi. The event attracted hundreds of participants from all over the state and Southeast region. Keynotes included Dan Jones – Chancellor of the University of Mississippi, Mark Winne – food policy author, and Mary Berry – founder and director of The Berry Center in Kentucky.
